Browns Sport and Leisure Club is committed to further developing field hockey athletes by providing social clubs the opportunity to tour abroad. Browns is home to the Algarvian hockey enthusiasts who practice twice a week and have been doing so for the past 8 years.
Going on tour enhances one's field hockey playing experience and contributes to the development of both individual field hockey skills and personal development. Participants are able to experience new cultures, meet and network with both hockey players from various parts of the World, experience new and different customs, and enjoy unique experiences that only traveling as a team can offer.
The people you meet, the experiences you share, and the opportunity to improve your field hockey skills, and the memories of a tour will become the most memorable experiences of your field hockey career.
Browns offers a team to a combining field hockey training in a foreign country, matches, participation in a tournament, and plenty of time to be a tourist and experience the sights and sounds a new place. The climate and facilities at Browns are also ideal for hockey and a number of clubs and universities have already chosen Browns for their end of season tours.
Preparation is the key to ensuring a tour/tournament runs smoothly. Careful planning, right down to the finest detail, all ensure that any camp arranged by Browns is a success.
