The swimming competition was highly participated by all clubs and as such the day was a huge success for competitive swimming in the Algarve . It was also a success for children's participation in physical activity in light of recent findings highlighting the lack of physical exercise gained by children today. Browns is keen to provide an investment into the grassroots levels of sporting activities for the children in the local area and last weekend's swim meet is a very positive step in the right direction especially for the children of Browns swim club as many of them were placed in their races. A special highlight goes to Nicole Martins who won two races – congratulations!!
